Congress Must Stop Trump From Attacking Iran

Donald Trump is once again pushing the United States toward a disastrous war in the Middle East.

As protests spread inside Iran and tensions rise across the region, Trump has threatened military strikes, surged U.S. forces, and encouraged escalation. While he has reportedly backed down from launching immediate strikes for now, that pause is fragile — and it could vanish at any moment.

Congress has the power to stop this — but only if lawmakers act now, while Trump is hesitating. We can’t wait until bombs start falling.

Tell Congress: “No unauthorized strikes. No blank checks. No war with Iran.”

We’ve seen this playbook before. Trump tore up the Iran nuclear deal, imposed collective punishment through sanctions, and brought the U.S. to the brink of war through reckless escalation. Temporary restraint doesn’t make us safe — it just delays the danger.

A U.S. attack on Iran would strengthen hardliners, crush hopes for reform, and punish the very people protesting for change. And without congressional authorization, it would be illegal.

U.S. allies have urged Trump not to attack, warning that even a “limited” strike could ignite a regional war, kill civilians, trigger retaliation against U.S. troops, and send shockwaves through the global economy. Congress needs to do its part here at home to stop another war.

Add your name now and demand Congress push back immediately — before Trump launches a war in Iran.
