On April 18th, US fighter jets bombed the civilian fuel depot at the Ras Isa port in Yemen, killing over 74 people and wounding 171 others. The strike sent fireballs into the air and turned tankers into burning wrecks in a deliberate attempt to cut off access to fuel for Yemeni civilians, preventing food from being distributed, keeping people in rural areas from accessing medical care, and causing other major disruptions to the lives of Yemenis. The deliberate targeting of civilian infrastructure is a war crime, and the Trump administration should be prosecuted for the act. This won’t happen, of course, but in the meantime, we must make our voices heard and demand that the Trump administration stop attacking civilian targets, stop killing civilians, and obey international law. Demand the Trump admin stop committing war crimes!
