Denounce the 5 Democrats Supporting Trump’s Iran War

Donald Trump launched started a reckless war against Iran without authorization from Congress. And when Congress finally had a chance to step in and reclaim its constitutional authority, five Democrats stood with Trump in support of his war in Iran.

The Constitution is clear: Congress—not the president alone—has the power to decide whether the United States goes to war. Yet instead of defending that responsibility, a small group of Democrats sided with Republicans and voted against efforts to rein in Trump’s authority.

In the Senate, Democratic Senator John Fetterman joined Republicans in opposing the resolution. In the House, Democratic Representatives Jared Golden, Greg Landsman, Henry Cuellar, and Juan Vargas voted against similar efforts to block Trump’s war. They deserve our contempt and scorn.
