On this Labor Day, many workers feel like the very things we celebrate—wages, safety, collective power—are being deliberately erased. Donald Trump is waging an all-out assault on workers’ rights. His administration has moved to eliminate collective bargaining for over one million federal employees. It has slashed funding for workplace safety inspections, undermined wage protections, and rolled back pro-union policies across multiple agencies. His executive orders have stripped union rights from workers at NASA, the National Weather Service, and other federal agencies. It’s an insult to working families and a reminder of what’s at stake as Trump pushes a corporate-first, anti-worker agenda. Every rollback of worker protections puts more lives at risk, weakens our economy, and erodes the dignity of hard work. The labor movement built the middle class—but Trump is doing everything he can to tear it down. We must speak out. By raising our collective voice, we show that the public rejects these attacks and stands in solidarity with American workers. Labor Day should be a celebration of progress—not a cover for policies that gut worker power. Add your name to denounce Trump’s war on workers and demand a government that respects labor rights, not destroys them.
