Watchdogs at Public Citizen just warned that drug companies hired over 500 lobbyists, this year, to push three bills that would gut Medicare’s power to negotiate lower drug prices. 

Trump’s “Orphan Cures Act” already handed them an $8 billion windfall. Now, they’re pushing new loopholes that go even further to kill price negotiation — protecting monopoly profits while Americans pay sky-high prices for insulin, cancer drugs, and lifesaving medicine.
