Jeffrey Epstein ran a child sex trafficking ring out of his 7-story luxury townhouse in Manhattan for 20 years. At least one victim filed a complaint with NYPD in 1996 after she was sexually abused by Epstein, but NYPD did not investigate him. Other victims may also have filed complaints - we just don't know. After Epstein was convicted in Florida, he was required to check in with NYPD every 90 days or face felony charges. He never visited NYPD, but they did not prosecute him. Since the Republican Congress refuses to investigate Epstein, NY State Senate Democrats must launch their own investigation immediately.
