Reject Expansion of U.S.-Israeli Military Cooperation!

Lawmakers in Congress are trying to massively expand military cooperation between the United States and Israel — and they're hoping the public won't notice.

A provision of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) calls for the U.S. and Israel to co-produce weapons, coordinate AI tech for war, and meld together the U.S.-Israeli military-industrial complex. It's a shadowy attempt to obscure military support for Israel in a bill that must pass every year.

Israel is committing genocidal violence in Gaza and Lebanon, and U.S. public opposition continues to grow against support for Israel. Yet, lawmakers are trying to make military cooperation with Israel a core, legally-binding aspect of U.S. defense policy. We won't stand for this shocking expansion of support for Israel's aggression and atrocities.

The proposed NDAA measure would dramatically expand military, research, and data cooperation between the U.S. and Israel. It would also gut government oversight of military support for Israel, making the military relationship between the two countries even less transparent.

The first committee hearing on the NDAA is this week. Representative Ro Khanna pledged to propose an amendment that would remove the "United States-Israel Defense Technology Cooperation Initiative" from the NDAA.

As Congress begins considering this legislation, we must show our deep opposition to this expansive, secretive cooperation with the Israeli military.
