Around 1 million cats are killed for meat every year in Vietnam. Many are believed to be stolen pets taken from loving homes before being trafficked and slaughtered. We urge the U.S. State Department to raise the cat meat trade in diplomatic discussions with Vietnam and support international efforts to end this cruel practice.
