Sign by June 2: Stop attack on endangered whales

Fewer than 340 North Atlantic right whales are left on Earth, and their population is declining rapidly. Now the Trump administration wants to roll back the rules that require massive commercial ships to slow down in right whale habitat. 

Speeding ships are deadly to whales. Ship strikes are already a leading cause of death for a species that cannot afford to lose a single whale. 

For nearly two decades, vessel speed protections have stood between mothers, calves, and a deadly collision. Scientists and the shipping industry recognize slow-down zones as a proven safeguard. 

Rolling them back isn’t just deregulation. It’s a death sentence for this ancient whale species. Public comments are being accepted until June 2. Tell the Trump administration: protect right whales from ship strikes.
