In December 2023, Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) began reintroducing wolves to establish a self-sustaining population within the state after 80 years of hunting and poaching. Now, the Trump administration is playing politics with this historic, voter-approved program by threatening to revoke CPW’s ability to manage the state's wolf population.
