Stand With Tim Walz Against Trump Retaliation

Federal agents are flooding Minnesota neighborhoods, people are dead, and Donald Trump is daring anyone to speak out against him. Governor Tim Walz did exactly that — and now Trump is threatening retaliation.

In recent weeks, the Trump administration launched a massive ICE operation across Minnesota, sending federal agents into cities with little coordination and no accountability. Raids have terrorized families, sparked widespread protests, and escalated into deadly violence during a federal operation in Minneapolis. Communities are living in fear while constitutional limits are being pushed aside.

Governor Tim Walz stepped up. In a rare statewide address, he condemned the ICE surge, warned against intimidation tactics, and defended Minnesotans’ right to safety, due process, and peaceful protest. Now, Trump’s Justice Department has launched an investigation against him.

Tell President Donald Trump and the Department of Justice: “End the ICE surge, drop the retaliatory investigations, and respect Minnesota’s right to protect its people.”

Governor Walz made it clear that Minnesota will not accept federal law enforcement acting like an occupying force. Trump’s response has been chilling.

The Trump administration has openly discussed invoking the Insurrection Act and has launched a Justice Department investigation targeting Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey — an extraordinary move that looks like political punishment, not justice.

This moment is bigger than Minnesota. Trump is testing how far he can go. If he can intimidate a sitting governor for defending civil liberties, no state leader is safe. If federal violence is met with threats instead of accountability, democracy itself is at risk.

Public pressure matters now. When we speak out together, we draw a line Trump cannot cross alone.

Sign now to stand with Tim Walz and defend democracy.

The petition to President Donald Trump and the Department of Justice reads: “End the ICE surge, drop the retaliatory investigations, and respect Minnesota’s right to protect its people.”
