Stand With Venezuelans

The U.S. military action in Venezuela on January 3rd resulted in the capture of Nicolás Maduro and Cilia Flores and reportedly killed 100 people. This is not only a violation of international law, but puts Venezuelans at great risk of suffering human rights abuses.

Human rights activists and journalists who courageously oppose the Maduro government have long been under attack in Venezuela, and history shows this type of destabilization will only worsen the situation on the ground for them and others.
