Tell BP: This wildlife refuge is too special to drill in

BP CEO Meg O’Neill,

The Arctic National Wildlife Refuge’s coastal plain is one of the most biologically diverse places in the Arctic. This remote tundra landscape is visited by hundreds of species of birds, supports wolves and polar bears, and each spring, it serves as the calving ground for thousands of caribou.

This land is untouched by roads and unmarred by drilling. Establishing oil drilling operations in such a remote region would be resource-intensive and risky. It would also threaten the wildlife that depends on the coastal plain for survival.

I urge BP to commit to not drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge -- it is simply too special a place.
