Trump and Interior Secretary Doug Burgum have a clear goal: give away public lands to pay for billionaire tax breaks and benefit corporate polluters. Already, they unjustly fired thousands of federal workers who steward our forests, parks, wildlife refuges, and other public lands. Already, they are making moves to open up the intact ecosystems of the Arctic Wildlife Refuge to oil and gas development. Their actions are in direct opposition to the wishes of the American public, who overwhelmingly support the conservation of public lands and agencies like the National Park Service, U.S. Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

We want public lands to be protected for future generations and wildlife—not to become oil fields and timber yards that people and wildlife no longer have access to.
