Tell Congress: Protect Bears Ears and Grand Staircase

The Trump administration issued two illegal proclamations gutting Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monuments, opening nearly 3 million acres of public land to drilling, mining, and logging.

Bears Ears is sacred ground, a place of healing. Grand Staircase-Escalante holds vast canyon systems and fossil beds where more than 15 dinosaur species have been discovered. These places belong to all of us.

The president has no authority to strike down national monuments on his own, and an attack on these two is an attack on every public land in America.
