Tell Kansas: Repeal the Nation’s Most Extreme Anti-Trans Law

Kansas lawmakers just erased more than 1,000 of their own constituents — and if this extreme law stands, transgender people in other states will be next.

The Kansas Legislature forced officials to invalidate updated driver’s licenses and birth certificates for transgender Kansans overnight, stripping residents of accurate identification they legally obtained. And the law lets private citizens sue their trans neighbors if they refuse to be outed.
