Thank Boston For Standing Up to Trump's Mass Deportation

Trump tried to bully Boston into helping him deport immigrant families. Boston said no.

Attorney General Pam Bondi gave the city until August 19 to dismantle its sanctuary policies—or face prosecution and lose federal funding. Mayor Michelle Wu didn’t blink. “We will not back down,” she said. “We follow the law—and we protect our communities.”

In the face of fear tactics and political threats, Boston stood tall. That courage deserves our thanks—and our support. 

Now is the time to show leaders at all levels of government that if they stand up for human rights, we’ll have their backs.
