URGENT: Stop the Trump Admin from Destroying Chaco Canyon

The Trump Administration is threatening to destroy Chaco Canyon. Trump wants to open up over 330,000 acres of fragile and sacred public land around Chaco Canyon National Historic Park to oil and gas drilling and mining.

Thousands of Navajo and Pueblo families live here. Generations of sacred ceremonies began here. Time is quickly running out to protect these families' homes and their ancestral land.

Tell Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum to maintain the 10-mile mineral withdrawal around Chaco Canyon and to uphold the Public Land Order 7923.

Big Oil and Gas has already wreaked havoc on the Greater Chaco community. Over 90% of the land is leased for drilling and fracking. 40,000 wells surround towns, schools, and Tribes—polluting the air they breathe and draining the water they rely on.

The Chaco Canyon region is one of the most unique, sacred, and environmentally fragile regions of the US. The land and communities who have called it home for centuries deserve protection, not drilling and mining that enriches billionaires.
