31 million people received lifesaving antiretroviral therapy in 2023, while 9.3 million people living with HIV went without treatment.

630,000 people died of AIDS-related causes in 2023, including 76,000 children.

Everyday, thousands of people contract HIV—many of them young women, who often have little access to education or prevention resources. The tragedy? These infections are preventable.

Pathfinder is working to stop HIV in its tracks by expanding education, testing, and treatment programs. From distributing preventative medications to supporting at-risk communities, we are fighting to end this epidemic.
